In October 2022, after hearing the overview of the proposed project, the Village Board authorized a contract with Sullivan Architecture to develop a design for the Fire House and Municipal Complex in order to arrive at a solid cost estimate. The cost estimate was necessary to determine project financing.
Although the major spaces in the building along with assumptions about the look of the façade have been drafted, they are not final. If the referendum is successful, there will be an opportunity for community input on the final look of the facility.
